Notes April 24, 2010 Answer: Symbol for Toenails Me:This is the second time I've come across the symbol in dreams (in the dream someone I know has long toenails, and they seem long/are coming off). Help? I usually find a good meaning for symbols through different sites, but this one is a real stumper- so if anyone has a dream book- anything un-internet searched, please share! Thanks. EB:Excessively long fingernails symbolize royalty, elitism, too good for the natural 'dirty' stuff of life, too important to do ordinary work - others do it for the privileged one. Extrapolating, excess toenails erase the need for functions of the feet:to move about on one's own, to go from one place or state of mind to another, i.e., to change the mind - which implies one is always right, immune from criticism.
